Connecting with LogMeIn

This is a general-use guide. It may not address any problem in specific, but could contextually help point you in the right direction

Visit the Troubleshooting Articles category on the left-hand sidebar to browse entries that may help solve your issue more directly.

 

1. You will receive an email invitation to create a LogMeIn account.

If you already have an account you can skip to Step 4)

 

 

 

2. Accept the invitation via the link in the email to create your account.

Create a strong password, you are not required to change the LogMeIn password once created

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. You will receive an email to complete your account setup. Click the link included to verify your account

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Once your account has been created and verified, click here to download the LogMeIn Client desktop application on your personal device or loaner laptop and launch the program once installed. Log in using your work email and the password you created for LogMeIn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. After logging in, you should have a connection listed with your username and computer name as pictured.

Click on the highlighted bottom-left icon to remote in to your work computer.

 

If you do not see your computer listed, email helpdesk@hlw.com for troubleshooting/assistance

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. You will get one more login window. In this window enter your HLW credentials in the depicted format.
User name: HLW\(your username)

your username is the same as your email, but without the @hlw.com appended

Password: Your HLW email password

For the “Log in to” drop-down menu, please make sure you select “HLW”

7. To switch between monitors on the host device (your work computer), click the icon highlighted in the adjacent image.
