Problem
I want to send a large File, but Outlook says it exceeds the file size cap.
Solution
The preferred method for sharing project related files is Newforma. Sending the files with Newforma gives the project team visibility as to what has been sent out and to whom. Follow these steps to share a larger file with Newforma:
Open up Newforma
Once Newforma is opened select the project the file transfer is associated with.
From the project home page, select the Info Exchange option. The Info Exchange page will list all the file transfer activity and also allows you to create new file transfers
The file transfer window looks similar to composing a new email in outlook. Fill in the required fields, add your email message under the “Remarks” section and add the files you wish to send under the “Files to Transfer” Tab. Once Everything is filled out click on the transfer button to send.
You can go back into the Info Exchange section and view the status of your file transfer.
