Problem

I can’t sign in to Deltek.

Solution

Follow these steps to open Deltek

  1. Click the Deltek icon located on your desktop. This should automatically open in Internet Explorer. If this link opens in another browser, please contact IT directly to remediate it.

  2. Make sure that the link opened is https://hlw.deltekfirst.com/hlwclient/

    1. If your link doesn’t match exactly, please contact the IT department for assistance

  3. Wait a few seconds for the client to launch automatically, or click “Click here to continue…” if Deltek does not automatically launch.

  4. Once you have the login prompt open, click the Windows Authentication checkbox. You do not need to bother typing in any credentials in the boxes provided

  5. Click OK to be signed into Deltek.

  6. If a Windows Authentication dialog appears, enter your standard login credentials (for your @hlw.com email) in all boxes until Deltek is downloading or opening.
