My Outlook Add-in is not loading

Problem

My Addins won’t load for Outlook (e.g. Newforma, Bluebeam, etc)

Solution

Follow these steps to enable an Addin for Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and navigate to the File tab

  2. Navigate to the Options menu, second from the bottom on the menu sidebar.

  3. On the pop-up menu, navigate to the Add-ins tab, second from the bottom on the pop-up menu sidebar

  4. At the bottom, click the “Go…” button, next to “Manage: COM Add-ins”

    1. Make sure “COM Add-ins” is selected from the drop-down menu

  5. Check the box next to the plugin you would like to enable.

     

  6. Restart Outlook if the plugin does not automatically appear.

  7. If the plugin still does not appear, contact HelpDesk@hlw.com for further troubleshooting.
