Problem

Teams repeatedly asks for my password, or won’t let me log in

Solution

Follow these steps to reset the automatic log-in on Microsoft Teams

  1. Close out of all Teams Windows and exit the process in the Taskbar

     

  2. Open Control Panel to the Icons View

     

  3. Open “Credential Manager”

     

  4. Click “Windows Credentials” and scroll down

     

  5. Find the “msTeams_autologon” entry and click “Remove”

     

  6. Start Teams again and login using your Windows Credentials. Follow any additional prompts.
