Revit is loading projects unreasonably slowly

Problem

Solution

The New York office has a server that will assist with loading projects by storing cached information on the computer.

1. With your VPN connected or Remote Desktop, Open Revit

2. On the ribbon, select the "Collaborate" menu

3. Click the Synchronize dropdown arrow > Manage Connection to a Revit Server Accelerator

4. Type nyrevit01 into the box near the bottom and click Connect
