Solution

Follow these steps to connect via Mac:

1. Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop from the App Store

2. Open the Microsoft Remote Desktop app, and at the top left, click the Settings icon, and select Preferences…

   Open

   

3. Under “Add Gateway”, add the HLW Gateway settings shown below

   1. Server Name: NYTMG.HLW.COM

   2. User Account: Use Desktop User Account (Default)

   3. Friendly Name: HLW

      Open

      

       

4. Add your HLW Desktop

   1. Type in your PC Name. You can ask IT for your PC’s name or on the device you want to connect to, search for This PC on the start menu, right-click and select Properties

   2. Under User Account, select “Add User Account”. Your username is “HLW\” followed by your email without the “@hlw.com”. e.g. HLW\csellman or HLW\wrivas

   3. Click Show More, and under Gateway, select the Gateway you added earlier, “HLW”

5. Click Save, and then open your newly created Remote Connection.
