Add REWS Account to Outlook

This guide will walk you through how to add your Rews gmail account to your Outlook. This guide is also applicable for any gmail accounts you would like to add to your Outlook.

  1. Log into your Gmail account.

  2. Click the gear icon at the top right

  3. then choose Settings.

  4. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP to bring up the POP and IMAP settings.

  5. Click Enable IMAP.

  6. Click Save Changes.

  7. Go to google account settings

  8. Go to sign in and security, scroll to the bottom, turn allow less secure apps ON

After you configure Gmail for IMAP, you can add your Gmail account to Outlook. Here are the steps for Microsoft Outlook:

  1. In the Outlook desktop app, click File on the top left and then select Add Account

  2. A window will pop up where you can enter your rews email. Be sure to select advanced options and check the box that says “Let me set up my account manually”. Press Connect to proceed.

  3. On the following window, select IMAP.

  4. After selecting IMAP, a window will pop up prompting you to sign into your rews email account. After signing in, the rews account will be added to your Outlook left-hand pane.
